This role is with a mobile game development company, established in 2016 and headquartered in Limassol, Cyprus, with an office in Warsaw, Poland. The company's games have a monthly audience of over 1 million people.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accounting records, ensuring they are up-to-date, including intangible assets accounting
• Maintain and organize company accounting documentation according to internal and external (legal) requirements
• Provide guidance on internal accounting processes and policy reviews
• Work with outgoing and incoming transfers, as well as invoice collection, preparation, payment and management
• Correspond with contractors for issues related to the maintenance of accounting records and reconciliation of payments
• Prepare and collect all relevant information for the registration/deregistration of employees with the social insurance department and tax authorities
• Prepare payroll and tax computation
• Calculate bonuses and reimbursements to employees (business trip expenses, company-related and agreed expenses)
• Prepare and submit PAYE payments and payments to social insurance on a monthly basis
• Issue the TD63 of the previous year
• Prepare monthly VIES reports, submit them to Taxforall, and reconcile accounting records
• Prepare quarterly VAT reports, submit them to the Taxforall system, and reconcile accounting records
• Arrange VAT return
• Prepare initial tax computation for new employees, including for review by company auditor
• Work with benefits in kind and tax exemptions
• Maintain the IP box regime
• Prepare accounting file for the auditors, together with supporting documentation
• Cooperate with company auditors and tax advisors during the accounting period
• Compile management accounts on a monthly, quarterly, half-year and annual basis
• Prepare a cash report monthly
• Prepare an investment report monthly
• Prepare other reports as per management request
• Act as the main contact person for banks and state authorities for tax and accounting related inquiries, requests and audits
• Arrange amendments to tax and social insurance department related to company data (for example, officers and address change)

Requirements

• Fluent English and Russian language skills (Greek is an advantage)
• Ability to obtain a work permit to work in Cyprus
• At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in IT and/or an international company (experience from Big4 or other audit company in Cyprus is an advantage)
• Excellent knowledge of Cyprus and international accounting standards, tax requirements, statutory laws and regulations
• ACCA, ACA or CAT qualification is an advantage
