We are seeking an experienced Senior C++ Developer to join our Quality Verification team, focused on enhancing automated multiplayer playtesting through innovative AI bot systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software engineering, particularly in C++, with a dedication to ensuring high-quality gaming experiences.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain AI bot systems for automated multiplayer playtesting
Develop bot behavior systems including movement, combat, interaction, and coordination
Collaborate with designers and QA engineers to translate gameplay scenarios into testable bot behaviors
Build telemetry pipelines for analysis, regression testing, and behavior validation
Investigate bot failures such as pathfinding, network desynchronization, and gameplay interaction issues
Modernize architecture and improve maintainability
Participate in exploratory machine-learning-driven bot behavior research
Review code and contribute to engineering best practices

Requirements

5+ years of software engineering experience
Strong C++ proficiency
Experience with AI behavior systems such as finite state machines or behavior trees
Proven ability to improve maintainability in complex codebases

Nice to have

Experience in multiplayer game development
Knowledge of performance optimization techniques
Understanding of debugging and profiling tools
Experience with automated testing infrastructure is a significant plus
Familiarity with Frostbite, Unreal, or Unity is an asset
Exposure to reinforcement learning concepts is a bonus
