SoftHouseGroup is looking for an experienced PHP Software Engineer to extend their team and work in the insurance domain, as part of a full-stack creative team responsible for all aspects of ongoing software development. The project is a large and complex system with extensive business logic and numerous interdependencies, consisting of multiple internal modules and integrating with a wide range of third-party services and payment providers.

Responsibilities

New modules development
Support of existing modules
Bug fixing
Using AI-assisted development tools for coding, refactoring, debugging, and solving technical tasks
Reviewing and validating code generated with AI to ensure code quality, security, maintainability, and compliance with project standards
Participation in daily meetings
Close collaboration with the product development team for estimation and delivery of features

Requirements

At least 4 years of experience in PHP development
Experience with PHP frameworks like Laravel or Yii2
Great knowledge of OOP and Design Patterns
Experience using AI-assisted development tools
Experience with MySQL
Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Vue.js)
Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Good knowledge of the full development cycle
Deep knowledge of REST API
English level - Pre-Intermediate (reading, no speaking)
A high level of self-organization, desire and ability to work in a team
Good communication skills and desire to master development skills

Nice to have

Experience with Vue.js
Experience in Billing, financial, banking, or insurance systems/domains
