Building and maintaining batch and streaming data pipelines
Extending Palladio with reusable integrations, processing capabilities, and validation rules
Improving data correctness and recovery, including retries, replay, schema evolution, and duplicate handling
Developing safe table maintenance capabilities and improving processing and storage efficiency
Owning delivery through testing, code reviews, monitoring, performance tuning, and production troubleshooting
Contributing to technical design decisions and supporting other engineers.

Strong Scala and SQL skills, with hands-on experience running Spark workloads in production
Solid software engineering practices: modular design, clear interfaces, automated testing, and maintainable code
A good understanding of distributed systems, streaming state, checkpointing, and failure recovery
Experience with lake house table formats, data integration, and analytical data modelling
The ability to investigate difficult problems, explain trade-offs, and take ownership from design through production.

Experience developing shared frameworks, libraries, or platform components would be a strong advantage.
