This role involves designing and validating mathematical models for iGaming games, ensuring they meet target RTP, volatility, and max-win, and supporting post-launch analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assess at concept stage whether a mechanic can hit target RTP, volatility, max-win
• Build full math models: reel strips, virtual reel weighting, symbol weights, paytables, Wild/Scatter substitution, bonus trigger probabilities, retrigger chains, feature EV
• Solve to target RTP; produce multi-RTP variants (94% / 96% / 98%) per jurisdiction
• Monte Carlo at 10M-100M+ spins; verify trigger distributions, payout spikes, max-win reachability
• Verify the engineering build reproduces the model — sign off before submission
• Author the PAR sheet for independent test labs
• Design within constraints — e.g. GLI-11 requires highest advertised payout to occur at least once per 50,000,000 game cycles
• Compare field data against theoretical CIs; investigate deviation outside 95%

Requirements

• Prior work experience with an iGaming game provider is mandatory
• Degree in Mathematics / Statistics / Actuarial Science / CS / Physics
• Knowledge of Combinatorics, probability, EV, variance, confidence intervals
• Experience with Python / C++ / C# / Java for simulation
• Advanced Excel modelling (used daily, not a formality)
• Has written PAR sheets that passed lab certification
• Can explain complex math to non-technical stakeholders
• Nationality: Taiwanese, Malaysian, Chinese, or Singaporean
• Mandarin is the primary working language
• Ability to read basic English documents is required

• Multi-jurisdiction experience (MGA, UKGC, Curaçao, PAGCOR, Ontario)
• Knowledge of LDW disclosure requirements
• Mentoring experience
• Experience with jackpot/progressive math
