This is a full-time, on-site Vue Frontend Engineer position in Sri Lanka with a contract duration of 1 year. The role involves building and maintaining web pages and internal tools, connecting the frontend with backend APIs, and writing unit tests.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain web pages and internal tools
Connect frontend with backend APIs
Write unit tests to ensure everything runs smoothly and fast
Review teammates code and support each other's growth
Automate deployments and system maintenance
Share thoughts on how to improve designs and workflows

Requirements

2+ years of software development experience
Comfortable with JavaScript and Shell scripting
Experience with unit testing (e.g., Vitest, Jest)
Hands-on experience with Vue 3 and Nuxt 3
Ability to read and understand official documentation efficiently
Knowledge of AI tools for productivity (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT)
Confident problem-solving skills (e.g., can solve problems like Two Sum on LeetCode)
Educational Requirement: Bachelor's degree
Languages: English (required)

Nice to have

Experience with other frameworks like ReactJS
Familiarity with Docker
Used automation tools like Ansible
Experience with CI/CD tools like Drone or Jenkins
UI/UX design or analysis experience
Bonus points for reading Clean Code or exploring Extreme Programming practices
Chinese language proficiency is a plus

We offer

Salary range: 1,000-4,000 USD per month, based on the candidate's capabilities
Regular day shift: 8 working hours + 1-hour break
Rotational on-call duty: once a month or every two weeks
Working hours follow Taiwan time zone: 08:00 - 17:00 (Sri Lanka time)
Off on the weekend, plus Sri Lanka public holidays
Candidates should be open to on-call duties and shift-based work as the company may implement 24/7 shift coverage and 12-hour rotating shifts in the future
