Описание

Values Value is a recruiting company with expertise in game development and is currently looking for a Head of Product to run an in-house game studio/squad within the gaming business unit of a global ad-tech group. The unit builds and scales a portfolio of casual evergreen mobile games—cards, words, puzzles, board games—and is rebuilding itself as an AI-native organization, with work organized around small squads.

Responsibilities

  • Own the eProfit of your squad's games end to end: product, LiveOps, UA and monetization decisions, with retention, ARPU, CPI and eROAS as leading indicators
  • Shape your studio: propose the targets you are ready to commit to and the team you need to hit them (product, marketing, other skills), staffed from within the unit or through new hires; make the input-vs-output trade-off explicit
  • Write the PRDs, hypotheses and experiment plans for the highest-stakes bets yourself, and stay in the data daily
  • Build the strategy and plan for scaling your studio
  • Use AI as the squad's operating layer: agents for research, QA, release and analytics, pulling data and models from the shared intelligence layer
  • Run the squad scorecard (lagging + leading indicators); when it goes off track, own the recovery plan
  • Set and maintain the standards every squad works to: PRD quality, hypothesis and experiment design, experiment qualification, release evaluation, how product metrics are read
  • Make product expertise accessible to other product managers or other directly responsible individuals: a set share of your time for office hours, experiment reviews, playbooks and worked examples from your own studio, so that what works in your studio spreads across the unit
  • Lead by example: your studio is the reference implementation of the standards

Requirements

  • 7+ years in a senior product or product-engineering leadership role in mobile gaming, specifically ad-monetized casual evergreen titles (cards, words, puzzles, board games, simple casual)
  • Genuinely hands-on: you write PRDs, live in the data and build things yourself with AI
  • AI-native: concrete examples of AI tools accelerating your output that made it to production
  • Leadership by proximity: you've led small, high-performance teams in a fast-moving environment and grow people by working alongside them
  • Deep understanding of ad-monetization and UA economics: eCPM, ARPU/ARPDAU, retention curves, LTV, CPI, eROAS
  • Fluent English (at least Upper-Intermediate)

Nice to have

  • You founded or co-founded a mobile gaming studio
  • You've directly scaled an ad-monetized casual game from early traction to meaningful portfolio revenue
  • You've built internal tooling, automation pipelines or SDK integrations alongside product work

We offer

  • Real end-to-end ownership: your squad, your games, your P&L, with a clear path to more scope as you deliver
  • A company-wide voice on how product is done, not just in your own studio
  • A chance to help shape an AI-native operating model that is deliberately ahead of where most of the industry works today
  • Part of a larger ad-tech group, access to a proprietary ad network, data and personalized monetization infrastructure as a built-in edge
  • A small, senior, high-ownership team with no unnecessary management layers
  • A culture built around data-driven decisions, ownership, continuous improvement and a lean-startup mentality
  • Hybrid role in Barcelona, 4 days/week in the office
  • Full-time staff position, fully official employment in Spain
  • Relocation to Barcelona, with a relocation package for the candidate and family
  • Medical insurance, meals and beverages at the office, gym and language courses
  • Paid vacation and sick leave
  • 6-month probation period
  • Stock options in the gaming unit

Hiring process

  • Screening with the Values Value recruiter
  • Interview with the General Manager of the Gaming unit
  • Interview with a board member / co-founder
  • Test task (optional)
