HR Generalist, France & EMEA

Algo is rapidly expanding in Europe, particularly in France, and is seeking an HR Generalist to be the sole HR presence in EMEA, working as part of a global People & Culture team.

Responsibilities

• Own the full employee lifecycle in France, from contracts and onboarding to departures
• Keep the French entity compliant with the Code du travail and the Syntec collective agreement (IDCC 1486)
• Prepare payroll inputs (PayFit) and manage benefits, leave and working time
• Onboard 20 to 25 new colleagues in France and prepare for CSE obligations as the company grows
• Support employees in Spain and Portugal, working with an EOR partner and contractors
• Advise managers on people matters and roll out global P&C programs locally
• Play a central role in implementing a new HRIS and in other global HR projects

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of HR generalist or HR administration experience in France
• Solid knowledge of French employment law and the drive to stay current
• Fluent French and professional English
• Right to work in France
• Organized, autonomous and eager to learn and grow
