Responsibilities

• Join AFSL's Machine Learning Group to develop next-generation ML models and algorithms for security and reliability in storage systems, transforming cutting-edge research into products deployed at scale
• Participate in the full research lifecycle
• Work closely with hardware, firmware, and system architects to co-design machine learning algorithms that are efficiently integrated into next-generation storage hardware
• Contribute to technical reports, patent submissions, and, where appropriate, research publications

Requirements

• M.Sc / Ph.D in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of experience developing machine learning algorithms for production systems
• Experience developing machine learning models for time-series and tabular data
• Hands-on experience using AI tools and AI agents to support software development, research, debugging, documentation, and productivity
• Strong Python programming skills and experience with PyTorch
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
