The Learning Team at ClickHouse is expanding rapidly as more users discover ClickHouse's capabilities. This role focuses on enhancing the hands-on training experience by accelerating technical content creation and integrating AI-powered tools.

Responsibilities

Manage the infrastructure supporting Content as Code, ensuring new content PRs are tested, easy to preview, and automatically released upon merging
Periodically check courses for proper functionality and facilitate easy updates with new features
Lead the Learning team's adoption of AI and GenAI, building tools, prompts, and workflows to expedite course creation
Design and build AI-powered agents and tools for students
Evaluate new AI/GenAI capabilities and models as they emerge
Write and maintain provisioning and grading scripts for hands-on certification exams
Debug issues affecting learners, instructors, and exam candidates
Build and run observability for all learning aspects: usage, failures, catalog health, dashboards, and alerts
Build and run analytics for user activity across all learning tools
Design and maintain hands-on lab environments for all training formats

Requirements

5+ years of experience with technical curriculum development on databases and/or distributed systems
3+ years of experience in a technical education infrastructure or DevOps role (e.g., building and operating lab or sandbox environments)
Experience with machine learning applications and/or GenAI focused on content generation, developer tooling, and AI agents
3+ years of experience building certification infrastructure, including grading scripts for hands-on assessments
Strong scripting and automation skills, including experience with infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub
A self-motivated attitude with the desire and determination to complete projects in a fast-paced startup environment
Ability to learn new technologies quickly and effectively
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write clear runbooks and technical documentation
A high level of responsibility, ownership, and accountability

Nice to have

Experience with SQL
Experience with ClickHouse database
Experience with one or more Cloud Service Providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
Ability to work cross-functionally among engineering, support, product, and development teams
Technical degree (e.g., Computer Science or related field)
