Values Value is a recruiting company with expertise in IT and game development, looking for an experienced Unreal Developer for a MilTech startup building an innovative real-time safety and situational awareness product for the US public safety sector.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain client-side features within the Unreal Engine 5 application
Take ownership of one functional direction (e.g., third-party API/SDK integration such as video communication) – from technical research through implementation
Communicate technical requirements, risks, blockers, and estimates clearly and proactively
Collaborate with the Product Manager and the System Architect
Work within and alongside an application that integrates with mobile, web, and backend systems developed by other teams

Requirements

5+ years of professional programming experience in the games industry
Experience shipping at least one title on the Windows platform
Strong C++ coding principles and practices, with experience in Unreal Engine 5
Solid understanding of game architecture, algorithms, and multi-threaded programming
Strong proficiency in 3D vector math, matrices, and linear algebra
Strong debugging skills and experience resolving complex technical issues
Familiarity with Agile methodologies
English and Ukrainian language proficiency

Nice to have

Familiarity with Visual Studio and tooling pipelines that enhance developer workflows
Experience designing and implementing physics, assets, tools, and UI
