Varos is hiring a Senior Analytics Engineer to build data models, pipelines, and product features using SQL, dbt, Python, and LLMs. You will be among the first 10 employees in a fast-growing startup.

Responsibilities

Build product features and run analyses on top of a massive data set (7,000+ companies first-party data co-op + large public database)
Work extensively with SQL, dbt, and Python
Leverage LLMs for data enrichment and tagging
Design data models using dbt
Build pipelines for Machine Learning or LLM models and ensure their reliability using ML/LLM ops techniques
Collaborate with technical and non-technical partners

Requirements

6+ years of analytics engineering, data engineering, data science, or other highly analytical, data-oriented roles
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical partners from many teams, especially in exploring decisions and trade-offs
Advanced proficiency in SQL databases and queries
Working knowledge of Python
Experience with cloud-based data warehouse platforms (Snowflake and Athena in particular)
Commitment to applying software engineering best practices in an analytics setting
Startup mentality, solution driven, can do approach
US citizen/visa only

Full-time role
Remote in the US
Salary range of $90,000 to $130,000
