Product Designer- Maternity Leave Cover

As a Product Designer on the Taboola News team, you will design mobile experiences for millions of users on devices from leading OEMs and carriers. This B2B2C product focuses on user value and revenue for OEM partners. You will own a product area end to end, working with Product, Engineering, Data, and OEM partners. This is a fixed-term maternity leave cover for 9 months.

Responsibilities

• Own the design of a Taboola News product area, working closely with its PMs, R&D, and business teams
• Pick up in-flight projects quickly and keep them moving through to launch
• Design core flows end to end: concepts, prototypes, and designs ready for development within the Taboola News design system
• Run user research and usability tests, and turn the findings into design decisions
• Follow features after launch and iterate based on qualitative and quantitative data
• Work closely with the design team, sharing dilemmas, research methods, and insights day to day

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in product design, with a portfolio of B2C mobile products that drive engagement and retention
• Hands-on craft from early concepts to pixel-perfect delivery, using AI tools to move faster from concept to prototype
• Experience with UX research, conversion funnels, and user journeys, using qualitative and quantitative data to drive design decisions
• Product thinking - ability to separate what matters from what doesn't, weigh design choices against user and business impact
• A bachelor's degree in design
• High level of written and spoken English

Nice to have

• Experience designing for OEM, carrier, or device-level surfaces such as lock screens, widgets, or home-screen feeds
• Background in ad-based products and ad monetization UX
