As a Junior/Medior Full-Stack Ruby Developer, you will develop new features for Caren, a platform handling sensitive healthcare data used daily by nearly one million people. You will be involved throughout the entire development process, from the initial idea to technical implementation and deployment, actively contributing ideas on how to best support users and continuously working on reliable, secure, and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop new features that help clients, family members, and healthcare professionals collaborate more effectively
Take responsibility for the entire development process, from user experience and backend to frontend and release
Safeguard the quality, security, and privacy of our software, ensuring sensitive healthcare data remains well protected
Continuously improve the performance and scalability of Caren for its nearly one million users
In time, participate in the on-call rotation to help ensure the platform remains available for our users
Work closely with colleagues within the Caren team and across Nedap in Healthcare to ensure our solutions integrate seamlessly

Requirements

You have experience with Ruby on Rails
You are familiar with modern web development and enjoy working across both frontend and backend
You are curious about new technologies, continuously invest in your own development, and enjoy sharing your knowledge with colleagues
You work independently, take initiative, and collaborate easily with colleagues from different disciplines to create the best solutions
You have a strong awareness of information security and privacy and contribute to maintaining a reliable platform
In time, you will also participate in the on-call rotation
Fluent in both Dutch and English
You are available for 32–38 hours per week
You are present at least once a month on our campus in Groenlo

The salary range for this role is between € 3.900 and € 4.700 gross per month based on full-time employment (38 hours) and depends on relevant knowledge and experience
