This role involves joining a data engineering team that supports modern data and AI initiatives, focusing on AI/ML. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Python, Azure Data Factory, Azure Machine Learning, and Microsoft Fabric, and understands data engineering and AI/ML workflows.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data engineering solutions
- Develop and manage data workflows using Python and Azure Data Factory
- Work with Microsoft Fabric to build and support modern data solutions
- Leverage Azure Machine Learning and related technologies to support AI/ML initiatives
- Prepare, transform, integrate, and optimize data for analytics, machine learning, and AI use cases
- Collaborate directly with clients to understand requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions
- Communicate technical concepts, architecture decisions, and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver data and AI solutions
- Identify opportunities to improve data pipelines, processes, and AI/ML workflows
Requirements
- Strong professional experience in Data Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with Python
- Experience with Azure Data Factory
- Experience with Azure Machine Learning or similar Azure AI/ML services
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric
- Solid understanding of data pipelines, data transformation, and modern data architectures
- Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and workflows
- Experience working directly with clients or other external stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
Nice to have
- Experience productionizing machine learning models or AI solutions
- Experience with additional Azure data and AI services
- Experience with LLMs, Generative AI, or AI-powered applications
- Experience in consulting or other client-facing technical environments
