SDK Engineer - Python

This is a library-authoring role focused on owning the Supabase Python SDK, working remotely across many countries.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve the Supabase Python SDK across database, auth, storage, realtime and functions, with sync and async APIs
• Work in the open: triage issues, review outside contributions, keep CI and release automation healthy, and write RFCs, migration guides and changelogs

Requirements

• Deep modern Python typing (generics, protocols, overloads, TypedDict) with strict type checking habits
• Authored or maintained a published library with a public API and users, plus open-source maintainer experience
• Fluent in asyncio and Python packaging (pyproject.toml, wheels, dependency policy), with strong testing and writing habits
