Senior Software Engineer (Infra)

This role is for a senior engineer on the Multi Cloud Efficiency team, focusing on optimizing one of the world’s largest data and AI platforms at Databricks, a data and AI company behind the lakehouse platform.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design and delivery of cost attribution, automated resource management and efficiency tooling across AWS, Azure and GCP
• Build systems that give deep cost visibility and maximize utilization for hundreds of millions of dollars in cloud spend

Requirements

• Senior-level production software engineering experience in Python, Java, Scala, C++ or similar
• Experience building scalable systems and owning key components through technical ambiguity
• Interest in cloud infrastructure efficiency, cost visibility and automation at massive scale
