This is a Senior backend engineer role focused on core infrastructure for the Databricks platform in Bengaluru.

Responsibilities

• Build foundational backend infrastructure platforms enabling seamless operation across regions and cloud providers
• Design and operate large-scale distributed backend systems for the Databricks platform

Requirements

• BS or higher in Computer Science or related field with 6+ years of production experience in Python, Java, Scala, C++ or similar
• Experience developing large-scale distributed systems from scratch and working on SaaS or service-oriented architectures
• Proficiency in backend languages such as Java, Scala or Go, with hands-on development and operations experience
