This role is for an Embedded C++ integration test engineer focused on ctrlX PLC IO modules and industrial protocols, working with hardware setups in Germany.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer Functional Requirements and Technical Design Packages to define integration test scope and strategy
• Design, develop and maintain automated integration test cases in Embedded C++ for ctrlX PLC IO modules and accessories
• Validate hardware-software integration and industrial protocols (EtherCAT CoE/EoE, CAN, M-Bus, RS232/RS485)
• Run integration and system-level testing on remote hardware setups in Germany
• Debug integration issues with firmware, hardware and Germany-based engineering teams
• Develop reusable C++ test frameworks and automation
• Mentor junior engineers and drive test practice improvements

Requirements

• BE/B.Tech/M.Tech in E&C or equivalent
• Strong programming in Embedded C++ (C++17) and PLC IO modules
• Good OOP understanding
• Experience with Linux-based embedded systems or embedded runtime environments
• Knowledge of industrial communication: EtherCAT, EoE, M-Bus, CAN, RS232/RS485
• Debugging and troubleshooting software on target hardware
• Understanding of software lifecycle, unit and integration testing
• Git version control
