This is an Engineering Manager role leading Experian's UKBI Java/search engineering team in Hyderabad, with a hands-on approach to microservices, AWS EKS, and Solr/OpenSearch.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers, supporting professional growth and providing technical guidance
• Collaborate with partners to understand data and our requirements, delivering technical solutions
• Design scalable software solutions using Java, microservices, Docker, EKS, Solr/OpenSearch, and AWS technologies
• Ensure high-quality software delivery through best practices in coding, testing, deployment, unit testing, and test automation
• Create project success by contributing hands-on during sprints, resolving complex technical issues, managing risks and impediments, and encouraging innovation through latest technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 10 Years of total experience
• 5+ years of experience in Java, microservices, Python, SQL and NoSQL database technologies
• At least 4 years of experience managing people
• Improve AI adoption to improve engineering productivity, software quality, and operational efficiency
• Experience in search technologies such as Solr or Open Search
• Expertise of AWS Services like EC2, EKS and Lambda
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
