*instinctools is looking for a Middle Data Analyst for one of our clients, a dynamic, fast-paced global platform dedicated to reimagining the movement of people and goods in real time. The project involves owning end-to-end analytical workflows and proactively partnering with stakeholders on reporting and insight generation.

Responsibilities

Own the full cycle of collecting, cleaning, and preprocessing data
Independently perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and relationships
Apply statistical methods to extract actionable insights and uncover findings that drive business decisions
Independently create and maintain interactive dashboards, charts, and visualizations
Develop visually compelling reports using Tableau, Looker Studio, Power BI, or Python libraries
Own regular and ad-hoc reporting end-to-end
Proactively partner with stakeholders to define and refine reporting needs and requirements
Ensure data quality and integrity through validation checks and QA processes
Adhere to and help enforce data governance policies and best practices

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field
2–4 years as a Data Analyst or equivalent, with a demonstrated track record of independently owning reporting and analysis workflows end-to-end
Strong SQL (CTEs, complex joins, basic query-performance awareness)
Python with Pandas and basic plotting libraries (Matplotlib/Seaborn)
Proficient in at least one BI tool used for production dashboards (Tableau, Looker, or Power BI)
Understanding of hypothesis testing and basic A/B test design
Able to interpret and communicate statistical results to non-technical stakeholders
Track record of proactively identifying and proposing data-driven process improvements
Comfortable operating with minimal oversight
Independently integrate AI tools into end-to-end reporting workflows (data extraction, insight narrative, stakeholder communication)
Write complex, multi-step prompts for data transformation, statistical interpretation, and automated commentary generation
Iterate prompts to improve output quality
Use Python-based AI libraries (e.g. OpenAI API, LangChain basics) or no-code AI tools to automate repetitive analytical tasks such as report generation or data cleaning
Use AI translation tools to simplify technical findings for non-technical stakeholders
Accelerate documentation and slide creation
Guide junior analysts on effective and responsible AI tool usage within the team
Apply a structured review process for AI-generated outputs (check logic, validate against ground truth, document AI tool usage)
Stay current on AI developments in the analytics/BI space (e.g. AI agents for data analysis, GenAI in BI platforms)
English: Upper-Intermediate or higher

Nice to have

Master’s degree or certification (e.g., in Data Science or Business Analytics)
