run a portfolio of projects: planning, timelines, resources, priorities, reporting
be the single point of contact for the client: kick-offs, status, presenting results
clear blockers together with the engineers and analysts, and learn the technical substance (data, pipelines, code) along the way
make sure checks and code review happen before work goes to the client
escalate incidents and risks on time
build self-sufficient teams and help engineers grow

project management experience: timelines, resources, utilization, client reporting
proactivity: goals, success criteria, risks and blockers are fixed before kickoff, not after the fact
comfort running several small teams at once
English B2+ for work with clients in the US and Europe
based outside Russia

experience managing data, analytics or engineering projects
technical literacy: reads code, understands ETL and BI, speaks the same language as engineers
AI tools in daily work (Claude Code, Cursor, LLMs for analysis, documentation, review)
experience with international clients and remote teams

support in growing into tech and people leadership
