This Backend Engineer role focuses on designing and scaling data pipelines and large-scale data ingestion systems for diverse web sources, handling high volumes of unstructured media data, and owning automation, integrity, and efficiency of data acquisition.

What you will work on

Architect & scale robust data pipelines from diverse web sources.
Handle large volumes of unstructured data (video, audio, images, text).
Analyze web apps & APIs for stable data extraction.
Own the full data acquisition process: automation, integrity, efficiency.

Requirements

5+ years of experience.
Experience with highload systems.
Proven track record with large-scale data ingestion systems.
Media content storage & delivery optimization.
Strong knowledge of databases.
Performance tuning & profiling.
CDN, caching, message queues.
Independent, able to lead complex projects.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
