This role involves building, operating, and improving production infrastructure, with a focus on AWS, Kubernetes, and CDN and caching systems. You will also design, develop and operate cutting-edge services and robust tools for the entire developer community.

Responsibilities

• Build, operate, and improve production infrastructure, with a focus on AWS, Kubernetes, and CDN and caching systems
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues across Linux, networking, Kubernetes, and content delivery
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management to make deployments consistent and reliable
• Develop monitoring and alerting, investigate production incidents, and implement improvements that prevent recurrence
• Collaborate with development, support, and QA teams to improve infrastructure reliability and performance
• Propose and implement improvements that benefit our infrastructure, teams, and users
• Participate in the team

-s on-call rotation to resolve production incidents and restore service availability

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience operating production infrastructure, with strong Linux administration, networking, and troubleshooting skills
• Strong understanding of AWS fundamentals, including compute, networking, load balancing, and auto scaling
• Practical experience administering and troubleshooting production Kubernetes clusters, including cluster upgrades, networking, and scaling
• Experience operating CDN and HTTP caching infrastructure using Varnish, NGINX, or similar technologies, with a solid understanding of HTTP, DNS, TLS, cache behavior, and invalidation
• Experience automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform and tools such as Ansible, Chef, or equivalents
• Experience using Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent tools for monitoring, incident investigation, and performance troubleshooting

Nice to have

• Experience with on-premises infrastructure, private clouds, hypervisors, or bare-metal servers is an advantage
