As an Engineering Manager in the Partnership group, you will lead a team of 6 engineers working on 2 of Melio's partnerships integrations. This is a unique position that works closely with the business side, involving direct engagement with clients and partners as a key representative of Melio. Each team member is an all-around player who influences the product from the overall experience to development, and you will be no different. You should be passionate about building a product end-to-end, overseeing the UX, design, coding, testing, and deployment phases. Using technologies such as Node.js, React, AWS, and scalable databases, you will build a unique experience in the world of B2B payments.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of full stack engineers
Set goals, define tasks and manage timelines to execute a roadmap
Work closely with Product and Design on new partner-facing features
Take an active role in hiring for your team and Melio in general

Requirements

7+ years of professional experience as a software engineer with frontend and backend development
3+ years experience managing a team of 4+ engineers
2+ years of hands-on experience with React
2+ years of hands-on experience with NodeJS
Experience in continuous delivery including automated tests
A deep understanding of production systems and the architecture of web products
Proactive team player with a desire to impact our engineering team, our product and our customers
An eye for UX/UI and details
Independent, resourceful and creative
Experience with REST APIs, as this is a backend-focused position
