As an HR Specialist in the Employer of Record (EOR) industry, you’ll be a key business partner to our clients, not just a service provider. You’ll sit at the intersection of global expansion and workforce management- advising clients on complex HR matters across Southern Europe. You’ll own the full employee lifecycle, act as their trusted in-country HR expert, and ensure smooth operations, compliance, and growth. Please note: this is a 1 year fixed term contract.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary HR contact for onboarding, lifecycle events, and terminations to ensure a smooth and compliant employee experience
Manage sensitive cases, attend calls or meetings, and draft legally sound documentation
Build and manage relationships with payroll providers, benefits brokers, and HR legal advisors
Be the first point of contact for client queries on benefits, compliance, and workforce planning
Stay ahead of labor laws and cultural nuances in Southern Europe to provide actionable guidance
Review and advise on employment contracts and risk mitigation
Guide clients through Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) and ensure timely salary changes
Act as SPOC for employees’ immigration/mobility needs in collaboration with the Global Mobility team
Identify delegable tasks, document processes, and ensure smooth handover for efficiency
Drive automation and AI adoption to streamline HR processes
Driving and lead compliance governance projects across South Europe markets
Lead efforts to standardize and improve HR practices globally

Requirements

3+ years of HR experience
Fluent French and English - additional languages are a bonus
Deep expertise of labour laws and strong working knowledge of employment regulations across Southern Europe with focus in France (portage salarial)
Experience supporting complex employee relations
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Tech-savvy with HRIS, Zendesk, Jira, Confluence, Tableau, and collaboration tools like Zoom & Slack

Nice to have

Knowledge of the EOR industry
Experience working across other Southern European Countries including Franc

We offer

1 year fixed term contract
The annual gross base salary range for this position is EUR 44,000 - 47,000 plus variable compensation
Our ranges are established using objective market benchmarking data for this level of work
Final placement within the range is determined by gender-neutral criteria, including the candidate's relevant skills, experience, and specific qualifications for the role
For Full-Time Regular Employees, this position is also eligible for an annual bonus which is paid dependent on various factors, including and without limitation, individual and company performance in addition to base salary
