Intern Software Tester (QA)

The Intern Software Tester supports the QA team by reviewing requirements, creating and executing test cases, and documenting results to help ensure product quality before release. The intern also collaborates closely with developers and other stakeholders to reproduce issues and confirm fixes.

Responsibilities

• Review software requirements/user stories and clarify expected behavior with the team.
• Create test cases and help maintain simple test documentation (steps, expected results, evidence).
• Execute manual tests (functional, exploratory, and usability checks) on web/mobile applications.
• Log defects with clear repro steps, screenshots/videos, and severity/priority suggestions.
• Re-test fixes and support regression testing before releases.
• Participate in team ceremonies/meetings and communicate testing progress and risks.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of SDLC and the purpose of QA in software delivery.
