NVIDIA is looking for an expert Software Manager to own the DOCA Networking Data Plane team in engineering industry-leading Virtual Switches. You will manage a team of senior engineers and address modern networking challenges across both high-density AI (E/W) and external (N/S) workloads, leveraging the NVIDIA DOCA SDK and SmartNIC architecture to achieve orders-of-magnitude speedups while maintaining full software flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Manage the team both personally and professionally, with focus on research & development of networking features
• Mentor and lead team members
• Be hands-on and engineer the next generation technology in this domain
• Work with world class technical leaders in this field

Requirements

• B.Sc. (or equivalent experience) in computer science / software engineering with 8+ years of overall experience
• 2+ years of team lead/management experience
• 5+ years’ experience of Programming C/C++
• 3+ years’ experience in Linux environment and tools
• Deep experience of Networking Protocols mainly Ethernet
• Strong analytical, debugging and problem-solving skills
• Deep knowledge in computer architecture and operating systems

Nice to have

• Experience with virtualization and cloud native technologies
• Experience in performance optimizations
• Open Source Software Contributor to relevant projects (OVN Kubernetes, OVN, OvS, DPDK, Linux Kernel)
• Hands-on experience with HW offloads
