A seasoned Laravel developer (5+ years) who can work with a Vue 3 frontend when necessary to evolve and grow the 16Personalities platform.

Expand test coverage (currently using PHPUnit, but alternatives are welcome)
Update older Laravel code to follow modern standards and Laravel 11 structure
Strengthen testing within deployment pipelines
Quickly roll out new features while maintaining clean, maintainable code
Improve database performance and caching strategies
Work closely with the team to ensure smooth launches
Occasionally step into the Vue 3 frontend to troubleshoot or verify data flow
Be comfortable shifting contexts for full end-to-end consistency
Experiment with AI to speed up development or test creation
Contribute to smaller AI-related projects involving model queries, batching, and output handling

5+ years of hands-on Laravel work
Comfortable with the latest versions and writing clear, efficient, well-structured code
A couple of years with Vue 2/3
Capable of navigating frontend components for bug fixes or data alignment (no design work)
Independent and dependable, managing own time and delivering reliably without constant check-ins
Communicates clearly, keeps the team updated, and takes responsibility for work
Enjoys a fast-moving environment
Takes pride in craft and always looks for ways to improve code quality and test coverage
Honest, open-minded, and willing to discuss solutions thoughtfully
Has a sense of humor and interests outside of programming
