MEDvidi is an AI-powered mental healthcare platform setting a new standard for safe, effective, and scalable psychiatric care in the United States. As a product-focused Senior Frontend Developer on the AI track, you'll own frontend delivery end-to-end for products that directly affect how patients access mental health care and how clinicians and staff work day-to-day. Your work sits at the intersection of a large, actively evolving Angular codebase and an AI-first product surface.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain product features end-to-end within a cross-functional team, from requirement refinement to production release
Take ownership of existing Angular codebase areas after the departing engineer: understand, stabilize, and improve them without slowing down the roadmap
Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code: code reviews, unit tests (Vitest), and lightweight design documentation as part of the daily routine
Contribute to frontend architecture decisions and platform health: performance, framework upgrades, NX monorepo structure, CI/CD improvements
Drive AI adoption on both fronts: building frontend for AI-powered product features, and integrating AI tooling into the development workflow itself
Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and tooling across the community

Requirements

3+ years of commercial experience with Angular (latest versions preferred)
Experience owning a product end-to-end, including analysing the metrics that tell you whether it actually worked
Strong product and UX judgment, you can recognize when an interaction doesn't feel right and propose a better solution
Fluency in modern Angular: standalone components, signals, current change detection and DI patterns, not experience from several years ago followed by a switch to another framework
Advanced RxJS and TypeScript in real production scenarios: confident design and debugging of complex reactive flows (stream composition, cancellation, race conditions, error handling) and fluency in a strictly typed codebase
Proven expertise in designing and implementing complex Angular application architectures at scale, module and component boundaries, decisions that hold up as the codebase grows
Hands-on experience with unit testing (Vitest preferred, Jest acceptable) as a regular part of the daily routine, not an afterthought
Hands-on experience with agentic AI development: active daily use of coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar), the ability to write effective skills, prompts, and instructions for them, understanding of the principles behind how agents operate (context, tools, feedback loops), and structuring code and documentation so agents can work with the codebase effectively
Comfort working across the backend boundary: writing or fixing a SQL query, adjusting endpoint validation, or tracing an issue through the API layer

Experience building UI for AI/LLM-powered features
Deep understanding of responsive design, our patients access the platform primarily from mobile devices, and interfaces must be flawless across screen sizes
Proficiency in optimizing web application performance across different surfaces: patient-facing product and internal tools for doctors, managers, and admins (data-heavy interfaces, large tables and lists, real-time updates)
