TradingView is a platform for financial market analysis and trading with over 100M users across 180+ countries. This role involves developing tools that help traders and investors make informed decisions, working on advanced charting, market data, collaboration, and publishing features.

Responsibilities

• Breaking up the monolith & designing scalable microservices: creating independent services for a distributed architecture that runs across multiple data centers worldwide
• Developing & integrating new features in a high-load environment: handling millions of simultaneous users, diving deep into backend performance, load balancing, API gateways, and monitoring tools
• Building services that scale & stay secure: designing service architectures from scratch, picking the right data processing, messaging, and streaming solutions, and implementing them
• Exploring different tech areas: collaborating with infrastructure experts and diving into network protocols, traffic routing, load balancing techniques, and more

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Strong Python skills (2+ years of hands-on work)
• Good grasp of algorithms & data structures
• Experience with Django & DRF
• Ability to design solutions & choose the right tools
• Broad knowledge of modern backend web technologies
• Basic understanding of databases, messaging systems & data streaming
• Experience with containerized infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes)

Nice to have

• Experience building high-load, fault-tolerant services
• Knowledge of Unix systems, OS internals & networking
• Familiarity with frontend tech (JS, TS, React)
• Some experience with Go
• Experience monitoring high-load production systems using monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Grafana
• Experience in finance or trading domain
• Familiarity with TradingView as a product
