Описание
As a Senior Software Engineer on the MinuteClinic Product Engineering team, you will design, build, and operate the services that power patient-facing scheduling, kiosk, clinical workflows, and provider tooling for MinuteClinic locations nationwide. You will own features end-to-end and actively contribute to the team's migration from legacy infrastructure to modern GitHub Actions-based delivery.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver reliable, maintainable services in C#/.NET, Java, or Python, hosted across IIS, containerized environments, and cloud infrastructure, spanning various healthcare domains
- Own your service's full delivery lifecycle: write code, define CI/CD workflows in GitHub Actions, manage deployments through the centralized deploy hub, and monitor production health via AppDynamics, Grafana, and Splunk
- Build and operate containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes - write Dockerfiles, manage Helm charts or manifest deployments, and maintain services running in a Kubernetes cluster alongside traditional hosted applications
- Deploy and manage services across cloud platforms - Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and AWS - leveraging platform-managed services including compute, storage, secrets management, and configuration services across providers; apply cloud-agnostic design principles to avoid platform lock-in
- Instrument services with AppDynamics APM and Grafana dashboards - configure availability, error rate, and response time alerts; author PromQL and LogQL queries for metric and log exploration; maintain ServiceNow/xMatters escalation policies
- Write and maintain integration and end-to-end tests using Playwright and SQL assertion suites; participate in code review with a focus on correctness, security, and operational readiness
- Apply foundational AI and ML knowledge to engineering problems - integrate LLM APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, or Anthropic) for internal tooling, assist in evaluating AI-assisted code review or test generation pipelines, and stay current with emerging AI practices relevant to the healthcare engineering domain
- Participate in the on-call rotation; triage and resolve production incidents using AppDynamics, Grafana, Splunk Cloud, cloud console tooling, and Kubernetes observability utilities
- Contribute to architectural decisions - API design, SQL Server schema evolution, service dependency mapping, cloud resource design - and document findings for the team
- Collaborate closely with product owners, clinical stakeholders, and infrastructure engineers to translate requirements into production-ready solutions
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience with C# and .NET (Framework or Core), or Java, or Python or similar coding languages
- Solid understanding of IIS-hosted web applications, REST API design, and Relational and No-SQL Databases
- Experience authoring or maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Octopus, or equivalent)
- Comfort working in a cloud-hybrid environment: Azure, Google Cloud Platform or AWS, JFrog Artifactory
- Strong debugging and production troubleshooting skills; experience with APM or log-aggregation tools (AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, or equivalent)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field
Nice to have
- Experience with TypeScript/Angular for internal tooling or admin UIs
- Familiarity with ServiceNow change management and on-call workflows
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance requirements and PHI-handling practices
- Knowledge in Epic, Bridges interfaces or other modules like Patient Access, Professional Billing Resolute etc.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
- Relevant industry certifications (Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, AWS Certified Developer, or equivalent) are a plus but not required
