The platform team builds the foundation for all product engineers: shared libraries, core services (assets, auth, gateways), CI/CD and observability for cloud SaaS products. Strong backend experience plus hands-on DevOps is what Innowise is looking for.

Responsibilities

Build shared libraries, SDKs and internal backend services
Keep GitHub Actions CI/CD fast, reliable and secure
Evolve observability: metrics, logs, traces, alerts
Improve developer experience: templates, scaffolds, local-dev tooling
Support product teams with design reviews
Join the team's on-call rotation

Requirements

4+ years with Node.js & TypeScript in production
Solid grasp of Node.js internals: event loop, memory, async I/O
PostgreSQL beyond CRUD: query plans, indexes, slow queries and migrations
Hands-on AWS: DynamoDB, SQS, Kinesis, Lambda (no need to be an expert in all four)
Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, ideally on GitHub Actions
Practical observability: metrics, dashboards, alerts (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Datadog or similar)
Confident, critical use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot)
Experience in distributed teams across time zones

Nice to have

NestJS, Kubernetes, Terraform, gRPC
SLIs/SLOs or release-flow design
Mentoring or tech-lead experience
