VISEO is hiring a Data Engineer in Toulouse to work on Google Cloud data platforms. The role involves designing and deploying modern data architectures using GCP services, supporting clients, and mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Accompany and advise the client in their adoption of Modern Data Platforms in GCP (architecture study, DAT preparation, FinOps, DevOps)
• Design Cloud Data architectures effectively utilizing GCP's managed data services
• Conduct deployment projects for Modern Data Platforms (Cloud Native Applications, migration of existing applications) and participate in their implementation
• Establish trusted relationships with technical and business decision-makers to promote long-term adoption of GCP Cloud within the company
• Provide in-depth technical expertise to project teams
• Assist and train clients on GCP Cloud data uses and tools
• Continuously monitor technological trends in the market and competitive perspectives
• Ensure quality aspects (robustness, performance, resilience, accuracy, scalability, readability)
• Learn and share your knowledge and ideas within a technically driven team

Requirements

• Experience in implementing Modern Data Platforms in GCP
• Mastery of the following Data services: Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Function, BI Engine, Workflow, Looker
• Familiarity with large-scale data transformation technologies (Spark, Hadoop)
• Ability to mentor junior profiles by sharing best practices
• Ability to lead or participate in technical events (internal or external)
• Agile mindset
• Recognized expertise in a Data Engineer role, with significant experience on GCP
