This role involves leading the design and implementation of scalable, distributed cloud-native solutions, focusing on Python-based services for real-time bureau orchestration, model serving, and decisioning workflows.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of scalable, distributed cloud-native solutions
- Architect and develop Python-based services supporting real-time bureau orchestration, model serving, and decisioning workflows
- Drive technical design discussions and architecture reviews
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, design guidance, and best-practice adoption
- Lead performance optimization, resiliency, and observability initiatives
- Own critical production issues through root cause analysis and resolution
- Partner with Product, TPMs, Solution Engineering, and client-facing teams during implementation activities
- Define and promote engineering standards, testing strategies, and security best practices
- Identify and reduce technical debt while improving long-term maintainability
- Drive cloud migration, modernization, and platform engineering initiatives
- Support strategic initiatives such as scalability, disaster recovery, vulnerability remediation, and operational excellence programs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Advanced Python programming expertise
- Strong experience with distributed systems and microservice architectures
- Deep knowledge of AWS cloud-native services
- Experience designing REST APIs and event-driven systems
- Strong database design and performance tuning skills
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and DevOps practices
- Proven experience troubleshooting complex production environments
