This role is for a Full stack Developer AI Lead, with a focus on full-stack software development and expertise in enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable enterprise applications utilizing Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
Build and optimize robust, secure RESTful APIs and backend web services
Manage and structure relational data layers using Hibernate/JPA along with SQL/NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
Enforce resilience patterns such as caching
Lead technical teams, conduct architecture and code reviews, mentor developers, and drive engineering best practices

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
15+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack software development, with extensive expertise in enterprise application design and development
10+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using Java and the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data)
Strong expertise in TypeScript and React, including component architecture, state management, and responsive UI development
Extensive experience designing and implementing microservices, RESTful APIs, and distributed enterprise applications
Strong experience with SQL Server (or equivalent RDBMS), including database design, complex queries, stored procedures, indexing, performance tuning, and optimization
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices
Proven experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized cloud-native applications
Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar, with the ability to review, validate, and optimize AI-generated code
Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, object-oriented programming, secure coding practices, and application scalability
Experience with automated testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, Jest, Playwright, or equivalent
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical leadership
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Nice to have

Experience in Financial Services, Banking, Private Equity, Asset Management, or Fund Administration
Experience integrating with Sage Intacct or similar ERP/Financial platforms
Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native application development
Working knowledge of Python for automation, scripting, or backend development
Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar AI agent frameworks
Experience building enterprise financial transaction processing systems, reporting platforms, and workflow automation solutions

This is a long-term position
Salary range: 135,000 - 140,000 USD per year
Occasional travel may be required to client locations on a need basis
