Java Technical Delivery Manager (with Medicaid/MMIS)

We are seeking a Medicaid/MMIS Technical Manager with strong Java full-stack expertise to lead development and delivery of scalable healthcare solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of Medicaid applications (claims, eligibility, enrollment).
• Provide technical leadership and mentor development teams.
• Lead architecture, design, and development using Java full-stack technologies (Spring Boot, Microservices, Angular/React, REST APIs).
• Drive hands-on development when needed, especially in critical components and solution design.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare standards (HIPAA, CMS).
• Collaborate with business and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting complex issues.
• Lead Agile/Scrum processes including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and implementation of best practices.
• Ensure application scalability, security, and high availability.
• Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and adoption of modern/AI technologies.

Requirements

• 8-12 years of IT experience with a technical leadership background.
• Strong Medicaid/MMIS domain experience (MMIS preferred).
• Hands-on Java full-stack development experience.
• Experience with REST APIs, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and databases.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

• Salary: $110,000 - $130,000/yr.
