R2P is looking for an experienced, commercially minded Legal Counsel to join their international investment business. The ideal candidate combines knowledge of Cyprus investment fund regulations with hands-on experience in international corporate finance and cross-border transaction structuring.

Responsibilities

Knowledge of Cyprus AIF and AIFLNP structures and CySEC regulations
Preparation and review of investment fund documentation
Coordination with fund managers, administrators, regulators and external legal advisers
Structuring cross-border investments and financing arrangements
Experience with loan agreements, equity investments, bonds and SPVs
Drafting and negotiating investment agreements, financing documentation and corporate resolutions
Developing practical legal solutions for international capital flows and intercompany financing

Requirements

Law degree and 3+ years of relevant legal experience
Good understanding of Cyprus corporate and financial regulations
Strong contract drafting and analytical skills
Experience in corporate finance, investment funds or international transactions
Fluent English
Independent, proactive and solution-oriented mindset

Nice to have

Understanding of international tax implications, withholding tax and transfer pricing
Ability to evaluate the legal and financial implications of proposed transaction structures
Experience coordinating tax and financial assessments with external advisers
Russian language proficiency
