This is a unique opportunity to join the foundation of a new threat research team, helping build a team culture, tooling pipeline, and research agenda from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Pivot seamlessly between hands-on threat hunting, data-driven research, and thought-leadership publications that reach thousands of security professionals

Requirements

• 5 years of hands-on security research, with at least 2 years focused on cloud security research
• Hands-on experience in programming and scripting with Javascript, Java or Python
• In-depth understanding of web architecture, including OSI Model, REST APIs, microservices, DNS, and TLS
• Self-motivated and capable of independent operation with minimal supervision
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, adept at thriving in dynamic team environments
• Fluent verbal and written communication in English

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Identity and Access Management protocols such as OAuth2/OIDC and FIDO2 WebAuthn
• Extensive knowledge of New Account Fraud and Account Takeover related techniques, such as: Credential Stuffing, Phishing, and Bot Detection Evasion
• Expertise in browser fingerprinting techniques using Javascript API
