.NET Developer (with Outsystems)

This role is for a .NET Developer with Outsystems experience to join teams and contribute to the development, maintenance, and integration of enterprise applications within the financial services sector.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance applications using .NET, C# and .NET Framework/.NET Core
• Support the development and maintenance of applications and components built with OutSystems
• Design, develop and maintain REST and SOAP APIs, ensuring reliable communication between systems
• Implement and support integrations between enterprise applications and third-party systems
• Work with SQL Server, including query development, optimisation and troubleshooting
• Use Git/GitHub and collaborative software development practices throughout the development lifecycle
• Apply Generative AI tools, such as Copilot, ChatGPT or GitHub Copilot, to support development, testing, technical documentation and productivity

Requirements

• Experience with .NET, C# and .NET Framework/.NET Core
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of OutSystems, particularly in application development and maintenance
• Good knowledge of SQL Server, including query optimisation and troubleshooting
• Experienced with Git/GitHub and collaborative development practices
• Experienced in designing and consuming REST and SOAP APIs
• Experienced in integrations between enterprise applications and third-party systems
• Hands-on experience using Generative AI tools, such as Copilot, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot or similar, as part of software engineering activities
• Previous experience in banking or financial services projects is valued
